30/05/2009 - Concert on 26th June 7.45 kick off at Millenium Centre. Bands playing, the best in the region "Missionary Men" special guests "Chaos" and "Free Gravity" admission £5.Tickets available soon or pay on the night.  Will be a cracker,not to be missed!!!

21/03/2009 - Many thanks for the support we have received in our campaign, morale and financial. The Loreburn deal will secure the clubs future and due to the management skills they will bring to the party the club will never be allowed to go back to old ways.

We have been instructed by Loreburn and the club to continue the fundraising, the debts will be refinanced by means of a soft loan,which we can afford. But the club still won't have any cash, we have creditors crying out for money and they'll want it before the Loreburn deal completes in mid May.
We have organised some events locally to help us in the meantime. The plan would be for the supporters trust to kick in after May, Loreburn have advised that they would welcome the involvement of a fans trust.

28/02/2009 - Join us for a "Bad Reputation Rock concert" on Saturday, March 21 at 8:30pm at the Millenium centre in Stranraer.  Proceeds go towards Save Stranraer FC.

25/02/2009 - Jethro, who lives in Glasgow, plans to do his bit by walking the 85 miles from the city to Stranraer over two and a half days next month in aid of the Save Stranraer FC appeal. Read the article here.

17/02/2009 - Funds raised to date total approx £3,500

11/02/2009 - A conference call facility with 30 lines has been donated to the campaign to allow supporters outwith the area to discuss the fund raising initiatives or donations - This is a freecall, which can be made from your house or place of work. This is proposed for Monday 16th February at 7.30 - If you would like to participate then please contact the co-ordinator, for details of the access code.

07/02/2009 - Donations received so far total £1,500 - An open meeting will be held on Thursday 12th Feb @ 7pm in the social club in Stranraer to discuss the various fundraising initiatives.

06/08/2009 - An article appeared in the Free Press highlighting the campaign and the website.

31/01/2009 - A new page has been added for business friends, logos and weblinks will be incorporated on the page for a donation of 50p a pixel, the more that a business donates the larger the logo and link to your website will be.  The website now takes donations.

30/01/2009 - The trust deeds have been signed and a bank account has been opened.  The PayPal donations button will be added as soon as the PayPal verification process has been completed.  There are many additional fund raising plans being put into action and we will provide an update we have confirmation of the events. 

23/01/2009 - We are in the process of getting the relevant deeds drawn up by a solicitor to form the Friends of Stranraer, we are trying to do this as quickly as possible.  We have appointed an independent accountant to oversee and audit the donations and expenditure.

We are hoping to have PayPal donations up and running by the end of Jan 2009.
