Way Out West Dogs is a dog training group situated in the west of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland.  The emphasis of all activities is on owners having fun with their canine companions.  The club has its origins in a group of friends who met through the local dog rescue centre (Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue) so there is a special interest in rescue dogs and canine welfare. 

Club membership costs £5 per family per year and this covers insurance for all activities.  Individual events and classes have their own fee structure and these are detailed in the appropriate sections.  The club has a written constitution, a steering committee and holds an annual AGM in Newton Stewart.  A small cup is presented to the person judged to be WOW Dogs handler of the year (the current holder is Brenda Crewe).
